Beyond Monet in downtown Jacksonville closing earlier than expected

The exhibit followed similar immersive experience events about Vincent Van Gogh and Ancient Egypt. It opened March 15.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Beyond Monet: The Immersive Experience is closing early on April 21, just a month after it opened.

Run by Paquin Entertainment, Beyond Monet was also held at Virginia Beach, Virginia, Austin, Texas, St. Louis and Calgary, Alberta. The interactive exhibit chronicling the works of 19th century French impressionist painter Claude Monet (1840-1926) opened in Jacksonville March 15.

"We greatly apologize for any inconvenience this has caused," organizers stated. "Ticketholders will be notified by email. For additional questions, please email jacksonville@beyondmonet.com.  The patrons and city of Jacksonville have shown our immersive events incredible support over the last two years and we are hopeful to bring new immersive experiences back to Jacksonville in the future. Thank you for your understanding."

Additional updates can be found at www.beyondmonet.com., according to Paquin.
