DELAND, Fla. — Creekside Knights showcased their indomitable spirit, rallying with two late goals to clinch a thrilling 2-1 victory over Stoneman Douglas (Parkland) in the FHSAA Class 7A girls' soccer semifinal.

Trailing for much of the match, Creekside refused to back down as Lily Paisant nailed a header in the 76th minute off of a free kick from Logan Griffin, and then four minutes later, Alana Maki secured the win with a clinical finish off the cross from Braelyn McMillan, propelling the Knights into the championship game.

With their sights set on their second state title in the last three years, the Knights will face Boca Raton on March 2 at 4 p.m. at DeLand's Spec Martin Stadium.
