Shanna Khan selected as Iguana Investment new Chief Design Officer

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Shad Khan's daughter, Shanna Khan, has been named the Chief Design Officer of Iguana Investments, the real estate company involved in the Khan family's Shipyards project.

Khan is continuing her role as a senior executive in all developments related to the Jacksonville Shipyards, including the Four Seasons.

A press release said her responsibilities will include building and applying a design strategy across all Jacksonville Shipyards components and overseeing marketing activities for the Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences Jacksonville.

Khan is also the key design executive in the distinctive phases of the Jacksonville Shipyards. Phase one includes a six-story office building, which is already under construction, that is the future home to the business operations of the Jacksonville Jaguars. 

Phase One also consists of a revamped full-service marina, reinvigorated Metropolitan Park, marina services building, and walking paths connecting to a riverwalk running from downtown Jacksonville to Metropolitan Park. 

The Four Seasons will have 170 luxury-appointed guest rooms and suites and 26 private residences. The hotel will have a signature rooftop restaurant and bar, all-day restaurant, destination lobby bar, world-class spa, well-appointed gym, outdoor pools, and meeting and event space.

Khan was the designer on  the 11-story mixed-use project, 919 West Fulton, in Chicago and the five-story multifamily complex Broadway Chapter in Fort Worth, Texas. She is also the president of The Resort at Urbana Country Club in Illinois.
