City approves $27.6M permit for North Jacksonville Sam's Club distribution center

The 1,003,000 million-square-foot building sold for $95 million in September, according to property records.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Sam's Club has the go-ahead to begin building a market distribution center in North Jacksonville after securing a $27.6 million permit April 8.

The tenant buildout will consist of 994,972 square feet on roughly 22.84 acres at 1511 Zoo Parkway Unit 300.

The work is for Phase 1 of construction, meaning tenant improvement in a recently constructed shell warehouse building. The tenant improvements include offices, according to the permit.

The contractor is Caddell Construction.

Developed by VanTrust Real Estate, the 1,003,000 million-square-foot building sold for $95 million in September by AK Imeson LLC, according to property records.
