Wanted Georgia man indicted from 'Operation Ghost Busted' drug bust found in Mexico

David "Khaos" Young is now in custody, according to the FBI. He is a member of the white supremacist gang Ghost Face Gangsters.

GLYNN COUNTY, Ga. — The final person of 76 indicted during the federal "Operation Ghost Busted" from January 2023 has been arrested in Mexico.

FBI Atlanta special agents, working with FBI Phoenix special agents and law enforcement partners in Mexico captured fugitive David Young Saturday in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico. The man, who used the alias "Khaos," has been brought back to the U.S.

Young is charged with drug trafficking conspiracy tied to the Ghost Face Gangsters criminal street gang.

The drug conspiracy case remains the largest indictment in Southern District of Georgia history. There were 76 people charged with having involvement in the operation as it was linked to the white supremacist group, Ghost Face Gangsters that distributed large amounts of high-grade methamphetamine, along with fentanyl, heroin and alprazolam in the greater Glynn County area, a Department of Justice news release said.

Seven people, including the gang's leader James Nesmith, were sentenced in November.

On Dec. 8, 2022, a federal arrest warrant was issued for Young in the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Georgia, after being charged with conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute and to distribute a controlled substance.

“Gangs that operate out of our prison systems not only bring drugs and violence into prison facilities – they also breed drug-fueled violence in our communities,” Supervisory Senior Resident Agent of FBI Atlanta’s Savannah Office Will Clarke said in a release. “We are committed to dismantling violent gangs like the Ghost Face Gangsters and holding their members and those who conspire with them accountable for criminal conduct.”
