STARKE, Fla. — UPDATE: Two women are facing charges after a Sonic in Starke was searched as part of an ongoing drug investigation, according to the Bradford County Sheriff's Office.
A Sonic restaurant in Starke will remain "closed until further notice" after a search warrant was executed Friday during an "active drug investigation," according to the Bradford County Sheriff's Office.
Colonel Bradford Smith with the sheriff's office tells First Coast News: "We have probable cause to believe there were drugs on the premises and working to determine if they were using the place to sell or not."
The Sonic being investigated is located at 825 South Temple Ave., according to a Facebook post made by Sheriff Gordon Smith.
"Please avoid the area at this time, updates will be provided," the sheriff said in the post.
