The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office identified two people were found dead Saturday in the Moncrief area.
Danica Odoms, 38, was found deceased in the 1000 block of 15th Street.
Meanwhile, Khalil Boatright, 22, was found deceased in the 4100 block of Stuart Street.
JSO initially reported that a black woman in her 40s was found dead on the side of the road near West 13th Street and Moncrief Road. Meanwhile, a black man was found shot to death in a Raceway gas station parking lot near Golfair Road and West 31st Street.
No suspect information is currently available.
Both investigations are active and ongoing.
JSO said there is no reason to believe these homicides are related.
