JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is investigating an officer-involved shooting in the Arlington area Thursday afternoon.
During a media briefing, Chief T.K. Waters said that around 1:40 p.m., JSO's federal partners from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) were serving a search warrant in the 7900 block of Cocoa Avenue.
When officers arrived at the house a man picked up a handgun and pointed it at the ATF agents and they returned fire, Waters said.
No one was struck or injured during the incident.
Three men are in custody as authorities continue their investigation.
JSO is working the investigation at the ATF's request.
