3 shot, including 2 teenagers, after shootings across Jacksonville

Two teenagers were shot off Fort Caroline Road in Jacksonville around 3 p.m. Two hours later, a man was shot in the city's Mixon Town area.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Three people are recovering, including two teenagers, after two separate shootings across Jacksonville on Sunday.

Around 3 p.m. officers with the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office responded to the 6400 block of Fort Caroline Road and found two teenagers who had been shot.

Both teens were taken to the hospital and are in non-life-threatening condition.

Investigators determined that a suspect got into a dispute with the victims and shot them. The suspect was detained by police at the scene. 

In a separate shooting, a man is recovering after he was shot in the arm by an "unknown suspect."

Officers responded to the 2400 block of Edison Avenue around 5 p.m. and found the victim.

He was taken to the hospital and is in non-life-threatening condition.

The initial investigation determined that the victim was walking when he was shot by a suspect.
