PUTNAM COUNTY, Fla. — The Florida Highway Patrol responded to Highway 17 in Putnam County Friday morning after a person was hit by a vehicle, according to a county spokesperson.
The incident happened on Highway 17 at County Landfill Road. First responders arrived at the scene just before 10:30 a.m.
The spokesperson said the person was taken to the ER. The spokesperson did not give details on the extent of the person's injuries.
The Florida Highway Patrol is leading the investigation.
