Jaguars fan wins 'trip of a lifetime' for Titans game in Nashville

The lucky Jaguars fan won a private flight, tickets and a night in a hotel for the Jaguar's pivotal game against the Tennessee Titans.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jaguars will play the biggest game of their season on the road when they face the Titans for a chance to win the division.

The game will be particularly memorable for one fan who won an expense-paid trip to cheer them on in person.

“Excited is not the word. I’m ecstatic," said Gabe Garcia as he boarded a private flight to Nashville. "When they called me and told me I won this contest, I couldn’t believe it. I’ve never won anything like this in my life.”

When the Jaguars are on the road, you can usually find Garcia catching all the action from the Buffalo Wild Wings he manages in Jacksonville.

But not for the decisive Week 18 game against the Titans.

Garcia won a sweepstakes on the Jaguars’ app for a private jet flight and tickets to the game for him and one of his friends.

“I fly a lot regularly, but never flown private," said Garcia. "This is the experience of a lifetime.”

Garcia’s prize includes a night at the same hotel as the Jaguars players.

Having moved to Jacksonville from the Carolinas four years ago, Garcia is not only a huge Jaguars fan, but he’s also a huge Clemson fan.

Which means, naturally, he’s a big Trevor Lawrence fan.

“It’s my understanding is the hotel has a rooftop bar, lounge and restaurant," said Garcia. "We’re going to go there tonight, so I’m hoping we can run into some of the Jags players. Perhaps Trevor will be there with Marissa.”

Garcia made sure to pack his Jags watch, hat, shirt, lanyard and lucky socks so that he’s covered in teal from head-to-toe in all the pictures he’ll show off to his employees at Buffalo Wild Wings.

“They’re all jealous," said Garcia. “I’m going to be taking photos, videos, it’ll be all over my social media. This will be the trip of a lifetime.”

Garcia will have the chance to cheer on the Jags at home next week if they can pick up a win while he's with them in Nashville.
