FLEMING ISLAND, Fla. — Fleming Island hosted Trinity Christian as both teams tried to get back in the winner's column following losses to both programs the week before.
In the first inning, Olivia Sikes hits one towards second for the RBI and gets the Golden Eagles their first run of the night.
Fleming Island played the patient game as Trinity Christian struggled on the mound.
In the second inning, the Golden Eagles with two runners on as Ella Morris cranks the hit towards right-center. Both runners come home for the two-run double.
Fleming Island would score 3-runs in the second and would go on to win a final 8-2.
