TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Former Florida A&M head coach Willie Simmons received recognition today as the 2023 National Coach of the Year from the National Coalition of Minority Football Coaches. Simmons, whose Rattlers achieved a 12-1 record, secured victories in the 2023 SWAC title, Celebration Bowl, and HBCU Division I Football National Championship.
