JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - First from you this weeks athlete of the week comes to us from Fleming Island.Junior Reed Davis lead the Fleming Island High Golden Eagles to an impressive 4A soccer title.
Reed has a 4.1 GPA and while academics are important you can just see the fierce competition on his face come game day.
"This means a lot to me but I'll do anything for the W.'" said Reed.
He has tallied 50 goals this season and has chosen to keep his soccer talents close to home by committing to play at Jacksonville University.
