Family members and friends requested privacy after JSO employee Cathy Adams passed away. First Coast News honors that request.

First Coast News listened to what viewers had to say to the family, a family that many knew and all respected.

A viewer described the crash as an unbelievable tragedy for the Jacksonville community.

Dozens thanked Cathy Adams for her service as a JSO bailiff for three years.

One viewer shared a photo of Officer William "Jack" Adams, letting a boy sit on his motorcycle during a Toys for Tots event.

Members of the Mandarin High School community sent prayers to the family. The Adams family was driving back to Jacksonville after the Mustangs’ football championship game in Orlando.

Viewers sent comfort to the family after learning that Adams is an organ donor, saying she could live on through others.

The law enforcement community says they are hurting at this time.

Cathy Adams was described as a wonderful sweet lady who loved her husband and children so much. They were her life, according to a viewer.

One woman wrote: "God, I ask you not to pray for myself, but to put your loving arms around this family during this difficult time."

Jacksonville mayor Lenny Curry tweeted the heart of this city breaks for the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office in wake of the tragedy.
