Volunteers now looking between North Carolina and Florida in search for missing Brunswick boaters

Tyler Barlow, Dalton Conway and Caleb Wilkinson were supposed to return from a fishing trip on Oct. 14, but never came back to their Brunswick dock.

BRUNSWICK, Georgia — The search for three Brunswick boaters who went missing Oct. 14 is changing course again.

After the Coast Guard ended its search, families of Tyler Barlow, Dalton Conway and Caleb Wilkinson are leading a private search.

So far, the Coast Guard and volunteers have searched thousands of miles from Massachusetts to Florida with no sign of the boat or crewmembers on boaters so far.

Now, the search will redirect south again, with volunteers searching the area between Florida and North Carolina.

While volunteers are in the air and on the water helping with the search, Tyler Barlow's dad, Chris Barlow says he and the other families are helping fundraise, monitor ocean currents, marine traffic maps, and posts on social media. Barlow says the community has been a huge help in the search.

A Facebook group has also been checking buoy cameras around the country, hoping to catch a glimpse of the boaters.
