JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — **First Coast News is not identifying the employees involved in this incident because no criminal charges are pending**

A Jumbo Shrimp employee is accused of punching a co-worker after a game Friday night, sending the man to the hospital, a Jacksonville Sheriff's Office incident report states.

The incident appears to have come after the employee confronted the victim about his behavior towards female employees, the report states.

Officers responded to the 121 Finacial Ballpark just before 10 p.m. Friday regarding a battery.

When police arrived, they found a man involved in the alleged battery who is listed as a Jumbo Shrimp employee on the report.

After police read the employee his Miranda Rights, he told officers that the victim had been "harassing other female employees all day," the report states. He told police that female employees notified him that the victim kept "coming on to them" and was saying "vulgar words" towards them.

The women were reporting the incident to the employee because he was the manager to the victim, the report states.

The report lists the victim as a cook for the Jumbo Shrimp and the suspect as a "team lead" for the company.

According to the report, the suspect had confronted the victim about the harassment before the alleged assault and said he was not doing his "duties in the kitchen."

"The suspect stated that he confronted the victim again about the harassment and the victim pushes the suspect," the report states. "The suspect advised out of reaction he punched the victim in the face."

Jacksonville Fire and Rescue responded to the scene and took the victim to UF Health.

The victim had swelling and redness on the side of his face and a bump on the back of his head, the report said.

Officers responded to the hospital to ask the victim what happened.

The victim said he didn't remember what occurred and the "last thing he remembered was closing for the game," according to the report.

During the interview, the officer noticed the smell of alcohol on the victim's breath and slurred speech, the report states.

A witness told police the suspect confronted the victim and was "pushing his body weight into the victim" before he punched the victim in the face.

The report stated the case was suspended, and the victim was given a State Attorney's Office card.

First Coast News reached out to the Jumbo Shrimp and the team declined to comment on this report.
