JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Red Cross needed to assist 19 residents after an apartment fire at Element at River Pointe apartments in Jacksonville Thursday.
The fire effected eight units in the building, which is on Harts Road, according to the Jacksonville Fire & Rescue Department.
No one was injured, according to JFRD.
The Red Cross was helping the 19 residents with financial assistant for food, housing and other essentials as their homes were damaged.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
