JSO: 1 hurt in Arlington shooting

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is investigating after a man was shot in Arlington Friday afternoon.

Officers responded to a person shot in the 1600 block of Lansdowne Drive around 3:49 p.m.

Upon arrival, officers spoke with an individual who found the victim at an acquaintance’s apartment suffering from two possible gunshot wounds.

Officers spoke with the victim, but he did not provide information on how he was shot or give a location where it occurred.

 The victim had two wounds to his right elbow and right side, JSO said. He was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police have no suspect information available as they continue to investigate.
