JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is searching for a missing 23-year-old man who was last seen by his sister on Feb. 23, according to the missing persons report.

Sabeion Dowell was reported missing the same day he was last seen by his sister after an officer met with her. Dowell's sister Kristena Rollins said Dowell didn't let her know where he was going, as the report states that he was last seen leaving a residence on foot on Feb. 23 at 5 p.m.

Another sister of Dowell, Bre'nae Fountain, said that this is "not normal" behavior from her brother in context of his disappearance, according to the report. She told the officer that Dowell usually gets in contact with a family member when he is gone for a long period of time and that she has not seen or heard from him since Feb. 20.

Fountain also told the officer that Dowell has been baker acted in the past, but has not been diagnosed with a mental illness, the report states.

Dowell was last seen wearing a pair of black Jordans and a black, white and blue SpongeBob hoodie, Rollins said in the report. It is unknown what area of Jacksonville was last seen in, as the report has redacted that part.
