PALATKA, Fla — The Putnam County Sheriff's Office is looking for the owner of a black pig in Palatka.
The loose pig is near the Children’s Reading Center Charter School at 7901 St. Johns Ave. The pig may have a piglet with her, the agency said.
"If this is your pig, we have left her in her current location for now as she is not near the road or a threat," the sheriff's office stated. However, they are making arrangements to eventually move the pig if she isn't claimed.
Despite the lost hog, Bike Week runs March 1-10.
