Mandatory evacuations ordered for eastern Flagler County

FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla.—All those living in evacuation zones A and B are required to leave their home, county officials say.

FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla.—All those living in evacuation zones A and B are required to leave their home, county officials say.

The mandatory evacuation is for everything east of the Intracoastal, including Marineland, Hammock and Flagler Beach. That's zone A.

Zone B includes the homes along Colbert Lane to the south, all of the C and F section east of Florida Park Drive and the F section of Palm Harbor Parkway. This also includes the areas east of Old Kings Road, south of State Road 100 and western Flagler Beach.

All residents will be notified if they are in a evacuation zone.

Flagler County officials are strongly advising residents to respect the evac order - especially those on the barrier island. Once winds hit 45 mph, the bridges will be closed and first responders will not be able to responders.
