After months of not knowing answers, the Flagler County Sheriff's Office (FCSO) safely located a teen who went missing last year.
Samantha Lynn Posella, 18, of Llama Trail in Palm Coast, Florida, was last seen on October 24, 2017. Deputies believed she was a victim of a crime.
FCSO said on Tuesday, Posella went to a police station in South Florida to notify authorities that she was safe. She told police investigators determined she was living in South Florida under an alias.
Because Posella is an adult, she isn't required to return to her parents' home in Palm Coast, Florida.
Originally, FCSO said she was last seen walking home from work from 6 Llach Court in Palm Coast that evening.
