Another company files lawsuit against troubled Riverside Chevrolet

Paxton Automotive Marketing is seeking more than $106,000. The company says they put together advertisements for Riverside Chevrolet but never got paid, according to court documents.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Another company filed a lawsuit last Tuesday against the troubled Riverside Chevrolet dealership.

Court documents reveal that Paxton Automotive Marketing is seeking more than $106,000 for nonpayment by Riverside Chevrolet on Philips Highway.

The company says they put together advertisements for the dealership but never got paid, according to court documents.

The lawsuit is also being filed against Beaver Toyota, which announced in May that it was working to take over the dealership.

Local business, Aldridge and Sons Plumbing, is also suing the dealership. Their lawsuit states that they were hired to repair a leak in December of 2017, but never received payment for the job.
