Suspect in Joleen Cummings' disappearance moved to Duval County Jail following hunger strike

The suspect in the Joleen Cummings disappearance has been moved to the Duval County Jail due to the woman being on a hunger strike.

The suspect in the Joleen Cummings disappearance has been moved to the Duval County Jail due to the woman being on a hunger strike.

Kimberly Kessler, who is also going by Jennifer Sybert, has not eaten since June 1 when Nassau County Sheriff Bill Leeper held a news conference regarding the disappearance of 34-year-old Joleen Cummings.

The suspect told investigators she would eat if she was transported elsewhere, so she was transported to Duval County.

Kessler/Sybert was charged with grand theft auto for allegedly using Cummings’ vehicle and dropping it off in a Home Depot parking lot.

Joleen Cummings has been missing since just before Mother’s Day. She and Kessler worked together at Tangles Hair Salon in Yulee.
