Shooting investigation underway on Jacksonville's Westside

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is investigating a Tuesday afternoon shooting in Jacksonville's Westside.

Officers responded to the shooting at the 7900 block of Dubois Drive at about 4 p.m. When they arrived, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound, according to the JSO.

The man's injuries were non-life-threatening. First responders treated him at the scene.

Police do not have anyone in custody at this time, JSO said.

The Crime Scene Unit and Violent Crimes Unit is investigating the shooting at this time.
