The Jacksonville Sheriffs Office is investigating the 2200 block of Plant Lane on the Westside after a man was found shot dead.
Police say the unidentified man was found dead in front of a cemetery in the area.
JSO is still working to identify the man and the events that led up to the shooting. They don't have a possible suspect.
JSO's crime map shows there have been eight crimes within the last week in a one-mile radius of the incident, two of them violent.
