The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is working a shooting Tuesday night in the Lakeshore area.

JSO responded to a robbery with injuries in the 4600 block of Cardinal Boulevard.

An official confirmed that a 46-year-old man was shot in the torso and suffered life-threatening injuries. He was transported to a nearby hospital.

Neighbor tells us they can see man who they believe is owner of Lonnie Hair Studios on their surveillance video limping & pounding on neighbor's door for help just after 9. Believe he was shot. Say JSO deputies arrived with guns drawn. Working for official sound. @FCN2go

Witnesses at the scene told First Coast News the person shot may be the owner of Lonnie Hair Studios.
