JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A fatal stabbing occurred just after 5 p.m. near the intersection of Edgewood Avenue North and Commonwealth Avenue Sunday, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
Police responded to the 900 block of Edgewood avenue, where a man who had been stabbed at least once was found on the sidewalk.
He was pronounced dead by Jacksonville Fire & Rescue Department first responders.
A suspect has not been located at this time, but police are looking for surveillance video that may show the crime.
