A Yulee woman was arrested Friday for allegedly making threats on Facebook to “blow everyone up” at an elementary school during a teacher planning day, according to the Nassau County Sheriff’s Office.

Christina Marie Maddox, 33, faces a felony charge of written threats to kill, according to her arrest affidavit.

Maddox allegedly wrote on Thursday on Facebook that “They have teaching planning day tomorrow and I’ll def be there going to blow everyone up,” her arrest report said.

She was subsequently contacted by police, read her Miranda rights and taken into custody.

Maddox told the investigator her post was being taken out of context and she meant she was going up there to talk to the school personnel and that she had no intentions of hurting anyone.
