Beatles tribute band, Rain, to play in Jacksonville next month, celebrating Abbey Road anniversary

Rain: A Tribute to the Beatles will play at the Times-Union Center in March.

Come together and experience peace, love and the magic of Beatlemania next month. 

The Beatles tribute band, Rain, will be playing at the Times-Union Center in Downtown Jacksonville on March 9 at 8 p.m.

The band will be performing their new show "The Best of Abbey Road Live!" to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Abbey Road's release.

They are expected to play the influential album's greatest hits, including "Come Together," "I Want You (She's So Heavy)," "Here Comes the Sun," and "She Came in Through the Bathroom Window."

Rain said it will also play several of The Beatles' hits throughout the years.

Abbey Road was released on Sept. 26, 1969 and ranked No. 14 on Rolling Stones' list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.

Tickets to see Rain start at $44 plus fees. They can be purchased at the FSCJ Artist Series Box office Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., by calling 904-632-5000, or online here.
