JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — UPDATE: All lanes of traffic reopen on Dames Point Bridge after two crashes closed two lanes Sunday afternoon.
Two crashes within 20 minutes of each other shut down lanes of the Dames Point Bridge Sunday afternoon.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, crews were dispatched to two separate crashes on the Dames Point Bridge, one at 3:47 p.m. and another at 4:04 p.m.
Both crashes happened on the bridge's northbound lanes, and traffic is slow moving.
The first crash is listed with injuries with blocked right and center lanes.
The second crash caused a roadblock to the right lane, but no injuries were listed.
