Update: Lanes reopened on I-295 at I-10 after dump truck overturned, spilled sand

The three I-295 northbound lanes at I-10 are now open.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Update: The three I-295 northbound lanes at I-10 are now open.

A crash involving an overturned dump truck has caused several Interstate 295 northbound lanes to be blocked at Interstate 10, according to the Florida Department of Transportation.

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office says three I-295 northbound lanes are currently blocked.

Drivers should use caution in the area and seek alternative routes if possible, as the overturned truck has spilled sand onto the interstate. Officials are currently on scene, shoveling the sand off I-295.
