Motorcyclist killed in crash on 103rd Street in Jacksonville

The 38-year-old man riding the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene, according to FHP.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A Jacksonville man is dead after a crash on 103rd Street early Saturday morning, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Trooper said at 1 a.m. Saturday, a semitrailer and motorcycle were traveling west on 103rd Street nearing Approach Road.

The semitrailer was in the outside lane of traffic and the motorcycle was in the inside lane, an FHP crash report states.

The semitrailer turned into the inside lane, crashing into the motorcycle. 

The 38-year-old man riding the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene, according to FHP.

The 51-year-old Miami man driving the semitrailer was not hurt in the crash.
