JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Update: Construction clean-up on I-10 East near Chaffee Road has been completed, and traffic is now flowing again.
Construction clean-up on Interstate 10 near Chaffee Road in Jacksonville had led to approximately 45-minute delays for drivers Friday morning.
Florida Highway Patrol says the left and center eastbound lanes are currently closed on I-10. Traffic is currently stretching from I-10 at Chaffee Road South to I-10 at State Road 23 North.
Drivers could use U.S. 90 as a detour to beating traffic. However, backups are being reported along that route, too, according to the Florida Department of Transportation.
