JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Florida State College at Jacksonville BlueWave made history on Saturday winning the NJCAA division two Gulf South District Championship for the first time in the school’s history.
Head Coach John Putyrski and a couple of his players joined Sports Director Chris Porter on Sports Final Sunday night to discuss the team’s magical season.
Putyrski, who is in his first season as the BlueWave head coach only had two players return from last year’s team.
FSCJ is 25-6 and the BlueWave are waiting to find out who they will play in the NJCAA National Championships in Danville, Illinois which is set to begin Thursday, March 18th.
