Episcopal girls' lacrosse headed to second State Final Four in three years

The Eagles beat Ponte Vedra for the first time in program history.

PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. — The Episcopal girls lacrosse team defeated Ponte Vedra for the first time in program history, en route to the Eagles' second State Final Four appearance in three years.

Sophomore Brooke McCoy scored the game-winning goal with four minutes left in the game, giving Episcopal the 14-13 victory in the 1A Regional Finals.

The Eagles will face American Heritage in the State Semifinals on Friday, March 10, in Naples, FL.
