Brunswick football star commits to Harvard

Jayden Drayton recently committed to the Crimson. He had 588 all-purpose yards for the Pirates last season.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Brunswick Pirates football star, Jayden Drayton, has committed to Harvard.

Drayton will be playing college football at one of the oldest programs in the country. To his knowledge, he will be the first Pirate to play for Harvard.

"It’s something no one from Brunswick has done, so it’s exciting to be sort of a trailblazer in that aspect. God has placed me in a position to change the course of my family and I’m excited to make the most of it," Drayton said.

He had 588 all-purpose yards last season, including 368 total punt and kick return yards.
