JACKSONVILLE, Fla.—The Village Inn on San Jose Boulevard is closed and will not be reopening.
In a statement to First Coast News, Dow Sherwood, the parent company of Village Inn, said that "as a result of factors involving our lease, Dow Sherwood has made the decision to close our South Jacksonville restaurant."
Employees that worked at the San Jose location are offered positions at the St. Augustine location, almost 40 minutes away.
