Ruben Ebron sentenced to an additional 5 years on drug charges

MACCLENNY, Fla.—Ruben Ebron will be serving an additional five years for drug charges on top of his 20-year sentence for his hand in the death of toddler Lonzie Barton in Jacksonville, authorities announced Tuesday night.

MACCLENNY, Fla.—Ruben Ebron will be serving an additional five years for drug charges on top of his 20-year sentence for his hand in the death of toddler Lonzie Barton in Jacksonville, authorities announced Tuesday night.

Ebron was charged in Maccleny, Fla. on drug charges and the court opted to set his two sentences consecutive - meaning they'll run one after the other.

He faced 5 drug charges and a resisting an officer without violence charge in Baker County.

Ebron's plea would put him behind bars for a quarter of a century.
