Purple Alert issued for missing 44-year-old Clay County man

CLAY COUNTY, Fla. — The Clay County Sheriff's Office issued a Purple Alert for a missing 44-year-old man on Saturday afternoon.

William Loren Hardman, 44, was last seen riding a scooter in the 1500 block of Interstate 95 northbound ramp from State Road 200 in Nassau County. The scooter is a black Honda 150cc motor scooter with a Florida license plate.

Hardman was seen wearing a blue shirt, dark-colored pants, a black backpack and no helmet, deputies said.

According to deputies, Hardman is diagnosed with several medical conditions and has not taken his medication for several days. He has brown hair, green eyes, mostly gray facial hair, weighs about 230 points and is 5 feet 11 inches.
