JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Police are looking for a black SUV that was traveling south on Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway after it struck a pedalcyclist, Florida Highway Patrol said.
A pedalcyclist was crossing MLK Parkway when he was struck by the unknown black SUV around 9:10 p.m., an FHP crash report said. The black SUV then fled the scene.
The Jacksonville man was later pronounced dead at a local hospital, according to FHP.
The crash investigation is ongoing, FHP said.
