JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- On Monday morning, Ken Jefferson filed official papers with the Supervisor of Elections Office to run for the Office of Sheriff of Jacksonville in 2015.
Jefferson was with the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office for 24 years. He is also a motivational speaker and community leader.
He is looking to replace Sheriff John Rutherford, whose term ends next year.
