All bridges along the First Coast are open Thursday following potential impacts by Hurricane Dorian.
A few bridges closed momentarily, as effects from Hurricane Dorian were felt. Bridges were closed once local law enforcement gaged sustained wind speeds at 40 mph. A few were also closed due to flooding.
All bridges and roadways have since reopened.

"Access to St. Johns County’s barrier islands remains restricted as the bridges to the islands remain under a condition of limited access. As such, eastbound access is limited to legitimate business or personal intent.
Law enforcement officers are posted at each bridge to identify the reason for requesting access to these evacuation zones and allowing it when appropriate. Proof of residency or purpose may be required."
