A Georgia man faces murder charges after Pierce County deputies arrested him Tuesday in connection to a body found in the woods.
On Monday, a body was found in the woods off of GA 32, the eastern part of Pierce County. Evidence left at the scene led deputies to the suspect, Corey Adams, 31. He was arrested in Pierce County on Tuesday without incident.
At this time, authorities are not disclosing the victim's ID. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is involved in the investigation.
Adams is expected to face a judge Tuesday and isn't expected to receive bond. He has been charged with murder.
