JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A man was killed while walking on Butler Boulevard early Sunday morning, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
Around 12:18 a.m., a 23-year-old Buffalo, New York man was walking on the ramp from Butler Boulevard westbound near Belfort Road.
A sedan continued down the ramp, and the report said the man appeared in the travel lane in front of the driver. The man was declared dead as a result of the crash, FHP said. The exit ramp was closed while authorities investigated.
