Family who flew from Jacksonville for Taylor Swift's Argentina concert 'devastated' about postponement

Taylor Swift's Friday Argentina concert was rescheduled for Sunday due to "chaotic" weather but, one family who flew out of Jacksonville for it, isn't thrilled.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A dad is looking for a "miracle" to happen Saturday for his family after his daughter and wife flew thousands of miles out of Jacksonville for a Taylor Swift concert, only to find out that it has been postponed, according to his X post.

Carlos Gil, the father who made the post, responded to a post Swift made in making the announcement that her Friday concert has been postponed "due to the weather being so truly chaotic," she said. Despite Swift's comments about the concert being rescheduled for Sunday, as she gets to "stay in Argentina longer," the family is facing a big dilemma.

Gil posted that the Friday concert was supposed to be his daughter, Gaby's 15th birthday gift but, due to the rescheduling and price for rebooking flights that "costs thousands," his daughter and wife are set to miss the concert as their flight leaves Sunday morning. In response to Swift's post, Gil wonders if she'll "bless them with Saturday's show tickets," after his daughter and wife allegedly stood in line for the concert for approximately 10 hours on Friday, according to a video posted by his daughter on his X page.

"Unfortunately, spending thousands of dollars more to book new flights isn’t an option," Gil wrote on one post in the X thread.

In a desperate plea, Gil even tagged the brother of Travis Kelce, who is often linked with the musical superstar, about sharing his message in hopes of it getting through to Swift. Jason Kelce is also an NFL player like Travis.

In another desperate measure asking for help, Gaby broke down the ordeal on Friday and hopes that someone could trade their Saturday show tickets for two Sunday tickets, as she's dealt with "months of anticipation."

In a post made by Gil Saturday morning, he shares that he was "up all night messaging just about everyone who might be able to help." Only time will tell if the end to the disaster Gil's family is facing, will be one they are happy about.
