27 complaints filed with Florida Attorney General's office against Jacksonville outdoor company

In April, the Ask Anthony team started looking into complaints about Premier Outdoor USA after receiving several emails from upset customers.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A spokesperson with the Florida Attorney General's Office says 27 complaints have been filed against Premier Outdoor USA on Philips Highway in Jacksonville.

In April, the Ask Anthony team started looking into complaints about Premier Outdoor USA. Customers say they paid thousands of dollars for outdoor kitchens and other products they can't use or never received.

Premier continues to place blame on the manufacturer and customers.

The Attorney General's Office sent First Coast News, On Your Side's Anthony Austin copies of the complaints. Most mention questionable business practices, receiving defective products, warranty issues and breach of contract.

For example, one complaint says:

"In October of 2023, I purchased an outdoor kitchen for $16,900 and it was delivered with a broken refrigerator door handle, broken infrared ignitor, broken interior grill lights and no instruction manual."

Another one reads:

"The company delivered a damaged, possibly used spa when I purchased a brand new one. It is functional but the exterior was scraped up, scratched and looks used."

Recently, Premier's website said it was transforming into 'Outdoor Dream Company' with new management and leadership. When a First Coast News photographer went by the company's location, it appeared the signage was being changed.

The Ask Anthony team will continue to keep you updated on this investigation.
