JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A man in his 40s is recovering in the hospital with a gunshot wound following "some form of road rage" in the New Town area of Jacksonville, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said.
JSO said it got a call about a person shot in the 900 block of Acorn Street. When they arrived, they found the victim with a non-life threatening gunshot wound and transported him to the hospital.
Police say they also located a scene in the 1300 block of Kings Road and believe the shooting occurred there.
Upon initial investigation, police believe these incidents are related to a road rage incident.
