JSO searching for suspect after Normandy Boulevard bank robbery

The suspect presented a note to the teller demanding money without displaying a weapon around 10:10 a.m. Saturday, police said.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — There were no injuries after a Westside bank was robbed Saturday morning, police said.

Officers responded to the robbery at 5665 Normandy Blvd., TD Bank, around 10:10 a.m., police said. Officers arrived at 10:11 a.m.

The suspect presented a note to the teller demanding money without displaying a weapon, according to the sheriff's office.

There were four employees at the bank. The employee presented with the note complied and an "undetermined" amount of money was stolen, JSO said.

JSO is looking for a grayish-blue pickup truck with lawn equipment in the back, which headed in an unknown direction. 

The suspect was described as a white man in his 40s, approximately 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-9 with tattoos on his arms. He was wearing a camo ballcap and a gray T-shirt, according to JSO.
